My Books
The small coastal Maine town of Blueberry Bay is the setting for these cozy animal mysteries. The first series begins with a novella, Perilous Landing, which introduces the characters as they find themselves in the midst of dealing with a mysterious death. The later books are all full-length novels that continue to bring new adventures to the town, the region, and the people who live and visit there.
I'm making the books available in both Kindle and paperback formats, with each paperback coming out a little while after the ebook launches.
I hope you enjoy these stories! Please check back again, and #writetome through my Contact page if you'd like to be kept abreast.
Warm wishes and happy reading, Faye

Inheriting Great-Aunt Tilly's 1820 mansion in a Maine-coast town seemed like the perfect escape from New York City's crime, grime – and my broken heart – till the simple life took a dangerous twist...
I've burned my bridges: sold my NYC apartment to move up here to Blueberry Bay, and open an inn in this fantastic, run-down folly of a house. But making friends in a tight – knit community would have been tough enough. Now, I don't have a clue who I can trust – except my clever Havanese dog, Ziggy.
Our first night in the house, a stranger in the attic died right before my eyes. Suicide – or murder?
My brusque, annoying neighbor, an ex-detective who's come out of retirement to investigate, suspects I killed her. My housekeeper knows things she's not telling me. The local contractor I've hired, a cute single dad, seems great for the job, but has secrets too.
The repair list is huge, and the "Barton's Landing B&B" has to open for business – soon. Meanwhile, I've got to solve this murder matter before I'm locked up as Suspect #1 – and before whoever's making threats tries to kill me!

A Cozy Murder on the Maine Coast (Not Cabot Cove) It's always a pleasure to discover a new cozy mystery series with unusual characters who appear on the scene with interesting baggage. In author Faye Weatherbee's Perilous Landing, we know we're in for a good time as soon as New Yorker Lisa Heywood and her Havanese pup Ziggy arrive in a packed-to-the-gills old Prius in Blueberry Bay, Maine...
"If you like dogs, Maine, city-kid-in-a-small-town vibes, or cozy mysteries in general, Perilous Landing is a fun introduction to future adventures at the newest B&B in Blueberry Bay.”
Sherry Christie, Indie B.R.A.G. Award-winning author of Roma Amor and Amber Road, Amazon review
This is a delightful cozy mystery. I really liked the characters and cared about what happened to them. The story kept me reading to see what happened next. The pacing was perfect. I couldn't wait to see how things turned out.”

This was an awesome prequel to a series I'm really eager to read. I really enjoyed Lisa and the other key players' characters, especially that adorable little Zig-monster, lol. I can't wait to see if Lisa and Jim's friendship develops into something more and super sweet. His daughter was a really likable character too and I loved how well Lisa interacted with her.”

Inheriting a mansion in the tiny town of Blueberry Bay was a dream come true – and a fresh start for me after years of Big-City crime, grime, and drama. Nobody told me life on the Maine coast would come with blinding thunderstorms, dead bodies, and murders for me to solve!
Just as I'm preparing to open the Barton's Landing B&B here in my aunt's fantastic but run-down house, and just as my NYC-broken heart is starting to mend, shockwaves ricochet through the community: a mysterious young woman has been killed, close to home. Now everyone's locking their doors and looking over their shoulders. It hurts to have to live this way here, in the sweet town of my childhood summers.
In this new life, I've got two great helpers by my side. My smart, sassy Havanese dog Ziggy has a nose for clues as well as treats. And the handsomest contractor in town is working against the clock to get all the repairs done before B&B tourist season kicks off, even as we make some hidden house discoveries together.
Though that's a lot on my bone china plate already, I can't resist looking into this murder, and that means I have a "frenemy," too: my crusty next-door neighbor. This retired detective insists I stick to my own business and stop sleuthing around. But he and the local cops are making zero progress, with a killer on the loose.
My fluffy little Havi is an open book – but all the humans around me seem to have secrets, and so does my house! I don't know who I can trust. And if I sniff too close to the truth about this case, I'm in double-dog trouble.

Ziggy may be a co-star but where would Lisa be without him? Balancing today's adventure with those of Joshua's 200 years ago puts mystery, love, and death in a remarkably enjoyable new light. Very entertaining. Captivating. Addictive. I give it very high marks. Highly Recommended.”
Christmas Angel, reviewed on Amazon, Goodreads and BookBub
Excellent mystery. "I really enjoyed this book. It's a well-written story with sympathetic characters and a satisfying conclusion. (It also includes one of the most positive portrayals of an autism-blessed family that I've ever seen.) The prequel to Stormy Landing is Perilous Landing, and I'd suggest that you read Perilous Landing first. Otherwise, you'll miss a lot of the background that enriches the character interactions. Highly recommended!”

What an enjoyable quick cozy mystery read!! While Lisa and Jim are fixing up the B&B, they also have a murder mystery to help solve along with Ziggy to help out!! With some twists, mansion secrets, surprises along the way...what could possibly go wrong?? Read and find out how things progress and see if this mystery gets solved...and if the Blueberry B&B gets to open?”
